Home New products ASUS ZenWiFi AX Hybrid (XP4) is an ideal mesh system for buildings with thick walls
11.08.2022

ZenWiFi AX Hybrid combines Wi-Fi and Powerline technologies for high-speed network coverage in buildings with thick or metal walls, which cause problems when used as a Wi-Fi backhaul.

ZenWiFi AX Hybrid mesh system consists of two Wi-Fi routers, each with a built-in HomePlug AV2 adapter for data transmission via electrical wires. This solution allows you to use electrical wires in the house to connect routers to each other, and data exchange is possible when devices are wirelessly connected in the network at the full speed of AX1800 Wi-Fi 6.

In total, ASUS ZenWiFi AX Hybrid (XP4) offers three options for setting up the backhaul — through the mains, Ethernet and Wi-Fi.

Among proprietary security-related technologies, we want to note ASUS Instant Guard — the function that makes the connection to any public Wi-Fi VPN network secure. It will help to secure, for example, credit card data, work information, e-mails. And ASUS AiProtection Pro provides home network security at the corporate level.
